TePP supports SSI units with turnover less than Rs 45 lakhs to develop new products. The SSI unit can tie-up with professional designers to develop new designs for existing product as product extensions or SSI units can also take up new product development with TePP support. To be eligible for TePP support the SSI unit promoter must own the Intellectual Property. Support is possible either under TPF or S3T category depending on stage of development. The grant amount will be given to the promoter as innovator.

For working capital requirement SSI units are required to contact Banks. TePP does not provide working capital. Organisations like SIDBI, SBI may be contacted. TePP does not provide funds for capital investment. See resources at http://www.msme.gov.in/
