Here’s the latest update on PM’s ‘Startup India’ Initiative

As government makes employment generation the guiding principle for all its major programmes, companies are now required to declare upfront how many jobs they are willing to create under the ‘Startup India’ programme to qualify for it, according to ‘The Economic Times’ report. A senior government official told ET that they would soon notify the new definition for startups, which goes beyond innovation.
