Indian startups have a potential of $25bn by 2025, says Nasscom

According to a Nasscom and global software firm Accenture report released on Wednesday, a cumulative cross-border investment of $25 billion into Indian and Israeli startups could generate a revenue of $25 billion by 2025.

To quote the report,"$25-billion cross-border investment into Indian and Israeli startups can create 25 world class products across sectors, with $25 billion revenue from them by 2025. "Collaborative Innovation: The vehicle driving Indo-Israel prosperity.”

The report came at a time when PM Narendra Modi visited Israel to mark the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between India and Israel. The report mentioned that both the countries are innovative as per technology, talent and temperament is concerned.

"As technology products and services leaders, collaboration can unlock gains across key sectors of mutual interest," mentioned the report under 'Vision 25/25.’

For a better understanding of each other’s markets, the report further stressed that both India and Israel have to be innovative enough to realise their potential.
