Uber appoints a new Chief People’s Officer

Vishpala Reddy appointed as the CPO

Uber appointed Vishpala Reddy as the Chief People’s Officer for India and South Asia, according to a press statement. Reddy has an experience of over 17 years in the field of HR across leading organisations. Vishpala will focus on building a dynamic workplace that attracts the best talent, strengthens the leadership capability. This would also enables innovative people’s practices to support the growing workforce needs.

“I’m incredibly thrilled to join Uber.  In my new role, I look forward to building a forward looking, sustainable and people focussed organization" said Vishpala.

Vishpala was associated with American Express as the Vice President and Head-HR. Before joining Amex, Reddy worked with Hewitt Associates as a senior consultant. She worked extensively in the area of performance and rewards. Reddy started off her career with Cognizant Technologies.

She has also played an active role as a board member of the national executive board of NHRDN(National HR Development Network) 2016-17 and also has led their Young Minds Advisory Board.
